Updated 16 August 2022
6 Weeks| Self-Paced | Entry Level- Graduate
Time Commitment: 15 Hours
Description
It is challenging to manage what you cannot measure. This fully online, self-paced Management accounting course focuses on providing information to help individuals within an organization to make better operational decisions. This is why management accounting is crucial to business success.
Participants have 6 weeks to complete the work after enrolling. All work will be completed in the A&M-Central Texas-Continuing Education (TAMUCT-CE) learning management system, Canvas.
The course consists of 5 modules. Each module has a pre-test, instructional materials, and a post-test. Instructional materials can include audio lectures, concept PowerPoints, other learning resources, and optional textbook readings for additional knowledge.
Passing a module pre-test with a score of 80% or higher allows you to skip the instructional materials for that module and move on to the next. Pre-test scores below 80%, require that you review the module instructional content before attempting the module post-test. A post-test score of 70% or greater allows you to progress to the next module.
Completion of the course requires successful completion of all modules. Average time to review all module materials and submit the quizzes is approximately 15 hours.
