6 Weeks| Self-Paced | Entry Level- Graduate
Time Commitment: 15 Hours
Description
Microsoft Excel is a fundamental tool used in business. Typically, businesses use Excel to manage, report, and illustrate data. This course is primary designed for business learners who do not have any or limited Excel background. In this A&M-Central Texas-Continuing Education (TAMUCT-CE) course, students will be exposed to an understanding of the basic capabilities of Microsoft Excel.
This is a fully online, self-paced course. Participants have 6 weeks to complete the work after enrolling. All work will be completed in the A&M-Central Texas-Continuing Education (TAMUCT-CE) learning management system, Canvas.
The course consists of 5 modules that may contain audio lectures, concept PowerPoints, other learning resources, optional textbook readings for additional knowledge, and competency quizzes.
Each module begins with a pre-quiz and ends with a post-quiz. A pre-quiz score of 80% or greater marks the module as complete, allowing progress to the next module. If the pre-quiz score is less than 80%, studying the materials in the module will provide the information needed to pass the post-test. A score of 70% or greater on the post-test marks the module complete allowing access to the next module.
All 5 modules must be completed to successfully complete the course. Though student completion time will vary, the average time to cover the required materials and complete the quizzes for all five modules should be approximately fifteen hours.
